If you’re looking for a multi-day, multi-location trip that hits all the highlights of the great American West, Open Road Tours may have exactly what you seek. Combination packages include trips from Arizona to the Grand Canyon and beyond. Some are inclusive of other canyons and historical sights, others offer helicopter rides, rafting, railing and more.

Reviews of Open Road Tours are largely positive. Guides are well liked with the occasional exception and are reported to be knowledgeable and friendly. Those who experience a disappointment do seem to receive at minimum a response from corporate.

Most popular tours

Grand Canyon Overnight: Includes a guided tour through the Sedona desert and photo ops in red rock country on your way to the Grand Canyon. Stops include the Navajo Indian Reservation and the Cameron Trading Post. Overnight in the canyon with an optional helicopter ride on day two or maximize your time at the South Rim before heading back.

Native American Cultures of the Southwest: Includes four day tour departing Phoenix with major stops at the Navajo Indian Reservation and Cameron Trading Post, a day spent in the Grand Canyon and the Desert View watchtower among other popular lookouts, Monument Valley and Flagstaff.

Canyon Country Trails: Includes a four day walking/hiking tour departing Phoenix. Naturalists guide walking tours through the Sedona desert and red rock country, Oak Creek Canyon, and the Grand Canyon. This tour can be strenuous so be sure you’re physically able to participate and remember to pack lots of water.
